What is Odyssey of the Mind? The Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program whose mission is to provide creative problem-solving opportunities for students. Through solving open-ended problems, students develop creative-thinking skills that can be applied to real-life situations.

STUDENT COMMUNITY OPPORTUNITIES
Here are some great opportunities that our school parents may want to pursue with their children. Please let us know if we can post student opportunities for our students. These are great activities to do on a rainy weekend or during extended days off away from school like holiday breaks or three day weekends.

A great way to find other fun contests for students is to simply use google and search. For example, " 2013 poster contest"

In addition, there are many writing contests; however, read carefully as with all contests read the fine print. The best writing contest are sponsored by local reading and writing councils.

Please let us know if we can celebrate with you your child's success.

From the Principal

Welcome to Bonny View School!
I look forward to getting to know you and your family as we begin a new school year of learning opportunities!
Each year of grade school uncovers a child's awareness of his or her talents, unfolds his or her ability to set goals for the future, and creates a lifetime of friendships and memories.
It truly is an honor to partner with you as the 2014-2015 school year begins.
Please stop in the office and say hello. Again, I look forward to working with you.

Mrs. Jennifer Mosier
